How To Use ChatGPT For Keyword Research
Even if you’re not into keyword research this article demonstrates several techniques for building ChatGPT prompts. I’m using it a lot as well and learning how to build prompts that are far more effective than what I was doing a few months ago. Just yesterday I was working on a landing page with a client and we couldn’t find just the right tagline. So I wrote a prompt giving background on the product, a few of our tagline ideas, and a bit about the tone, and set ChatGPT free. ChatGPT definitely helped with the brainstorming.
So Long SEO Traffic: The Future Is AI-Based Search
I’ve been talking about how conversational AI is going to fundamentally change how we search. This is a huge threat to Google’s business model. It’s also a huge threat to how content creators should think about their craft. Yes, we still need great content but to what end? Are you getting the traffic if AI is stealing your copy to write answers? What fundamental changes should you be making to your marketing model?

The key takeaway from all of this is that the foundational technology is good enough to solve a lot of business problems. What we need now are business applications on top of the foundational models. You shouldn’t be experimenting with ChatGPT. You should be experimenting with technologies that leverage ChatGPT in meaningful ways.
LI Post: Is the AI you’re investing in real?
This is a brief post I did on LinkedIn. One thing I’ve heard from investors is the concern about all the investments made in conversational and generative AI tech that isn’t grounded in working code. It’s the “two founders and a dream” investment. Cool demos don’t solve business problems. It could be a trap. Dig behind the demo to make sure there’s a there there.
